Please note that the King County Vaccine Verification Order takes effect October 25th. Beginning the 26th, all guests 12 and over sitting inside the restaurant will either need proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test. Vaccination cards or photos of vaccination cards will be accepted; please see KingCounty.gov/Verify for more information about the types of documentation required to be seated inside the restaurant.
This Order does NOT affect outside seating (including the deck), to go orders, or the market.
Finally…please, please, please do not argue with our staff about this Order. They are just trying to do their jobs and we are trying to comply with County health code requirements. If you have feedback regarding this Order, please direct those to the County at KingCounty.gov/Contact.
It has been a long and overwhelming year, and that there is a flood of often contradictory information out there. Please know that we’re closely monitoring updates from both the CDC and local health officials, and continuously updating our procedures to comply with the latest guidelines. But also please know that we’re committed to giving you the best restaurant experience possible in a fun, inviting, and safe atmosphere.
We always take our food safety seriously, and continuously ensure all staff members are up-to-date with the latest food handling procedures. We have an Excellent rating from the King County Health Department, which is something that we pride ourselves on.
In response to the pandemic, we have implemented many additional procedures to address the spread of the COVID-19 virus directly. Additional measures include:
- Being masked at all times.
- Instructing all staff to contact a manager immediately if they feel ill to ensure that unwell employees are not onsite.
- Wearing (fancy black!) gloves during transactions.
- Ensuring consistent hand washing, including after all transactions.
- Wiping all surfaces with bleach solution on a regular basis.
- Shifting to digital menus.
- Moving all disposable items (lids, utensils) and condiments behind the counter.
