Founded by winemaker Charlie Hoppes alongside his wife Terri, what began as a small, kitchen-based passion project in the early 1980s has grown into a celebrated Red Mountain winery. Guided by a deep appreciation for the land and a commitment to craftsmanship, Charlie pursued formal winemaking education and helped shape Washington’s wine industry before launching Fidélitas in 2000—built on the belief that the region could produce world-class wines rivaling the best in the world.
Today, Fidélitas continues as a multi-generational endeavor, with Charlie’s son Will helping lead the winery alongside a dedicated team, carrying forward a legacy of passion, precision, and family values. From estate-grown vineyards on Red Mountain to every bottle crafted, the winery remains deeply hands-on and intentional—honoring both tradition and innovation.
